8 days Korea Trip - 1st to 8th April 2011

The original plan was to Japan but due to the disaster, we transferred the package to Korea instead. It was my 2nd trip there and I must say Korea has alot of changes despite the last trip was only 6 years back. There was a total of 9 of us for this trip which includes my parents and my sister's family of 4.

Love the cooling weather in Korea with only 5 degree C in the morning and at night and 15 degrees in the afternoon. We spent S$1.5K throughout this trip, with S$450 worth of facial products and another $450 worth of souvenirs and tibits.

This trip also took us to Jeju Island, our first time there. We spent 2 nights in Jeju which was a very fruitful trip which took us for a submarine experience at the Pacific Ocean and a horse riding experience. The last night at Jeju Island took us to a performance called the "NANTA", which send us laughing and rolling in our seats for the 90 mins performance.

We also visited Mount Sorak which has very breathtaking scenery at the top of the mountain. We also had a farm tour visit which we get to milk the cow and did ice cream making. Last day in Seoul took us to an Ice Gallery where we made mugs out of ice. The Ice Gallery has a temperature of -5 deg. Everyone were freezing in the gallery. Another 3 hightlight of the trip includes visiting their 2 most famous themeparks, Everland and Lotte World and also Kimchi Making and dressing up for pictures in their traditional Korean costume.

25th February 2011 - In Loving Memories of our beloved daughter, Jorine Low.

We lost Jorine due to her suffering from major heart complications when she was 5-1/2 months old in my tummy.

This pregnancy have not been a easy one, with me suffering from bleeding in which gynae diagnose as threatened abortion in the 1st trimester. By 2nd trimester, I was always breathless not knowing it was due to Jorine's failed heart.

18th Feb 2011, the darkest day in our lives.
In the morning, we took the day off to celebrate Jovan's 4th birthday in school, with lots of plans lined up for the day. After the school party, we brought Jovan to his 1st visit to a dental, followed by lunch before we head off to Thomson Medical Centre for the Fetal Assesment Scan. This day was very anxious day for us, for we can finally confirmed our baby's gender. But happiness was short-lived. After announcing baby is a girl, what we have always expected for, the radiographer gave a frown, choked on her words before revealing that some abnormality were found on Jorine's heart. We were then refered to come back the next day for the Head of Radiography to further diagnose. My world half came crashing down that day. Husband was the strongest one ensuring that nothing will be wrong with Jorine while my tears started to flow since that day. Many questions came thru my mind. What had I did wrong during the pregnancy. How much have I not protected my unborn baby. Lots and lots of self-blamed. That nite I lay on bed without sleep. I remembered Jorine kicking me in my tummy non-stop that nite, as if telling me something.

19th Feb 2011 - The next day.
We went to Thomsons Medical Centre again, for the Head of Radiography to give another assessment on Jorine. That was when he shake his head and diagnose Jorine with major heart complications. The left side of her heart has already stopped functioning while the right side has started to swell. The radiographer then sent us back to our gynae with the report. As I walked out of the Thomson to my gynae clinic, my tears never once stopped flowing. At the clinic, gynae advise us to give up the baby now, for Jorine will not be able to survive past 7 months in my tummy due to her failing heart. Even if she could survive full term, she will be born will heart failure and died at birth. She was then then already 22 weeks old and I must make the decision fast to abort her within 2 weeks for abortion will be illegal once baby is 24 weeks old. That day, I had Jorine kicking me non-stop in my tummy again. I can never forget the image of leaving the clinic with my husband hand in hand and having both of us breaking down in the car. It was as if time has stop at the moment. And I must say it was the worst birthday for my husband whose birthday falls on 20th Feb.

"They say children are gifts from God. Why did God give it to me in the 1st place and then heartlessly take it back? God, will you pls give my child back to me?"

These are the questions going thru my mind. I blame God. I blame him for taking away my unborn child. I blame him for making me gone thru a very very bitter divorce and then heartlessly take my child away. Just what more does he wants from me? If He thinks that the previous divorce did not kill me as planned, then He had successfully defeated me when he took away my child. I admit defeat.

That nite, I cried like a small baby in my husband arms for a good one hour.

20th Feb 2011 - My husband and son birthday
I didn't sleep a single wink the nite before, just as I had thought I had fallen asleep, I woke up in pain hearing my husband crying. It was his birthday, and he was crying on his birthday. For having to come to terms to losing his beloved daughter as a first time dad. My heart ached for him. I felt I had failed as a wife and a mum for not able to protect his beloved baby. At that moment, I was scared, terribly scared. My husband has always been my pillar of support. When he broke down, I was scared for I thought I am going to lose my pillar. My relationship with my husband has always been a give and take one. With him giving to me most of the time and I taking it. It was only thru this episode that I felt his importance to me in my life and I had really learnt to appreciate him. I asked God, if this was to be a test between the husband and wife, then I can't thank him enough. Before the episode, I had always taken my husband for granted, I do not show him how much I love him and how important he is to me. If by taking our beloved daughter away from me, will I know my husband's importance, then I had sinned terribly, and I am guilty for life. God had taken away my daughter, but He has given me the husband I can't asked for more.

21st Feb - meeting up with Jane
Jane, my long long best friend who never failed to know what I need. She brought me out for lunch. She knows that I need a big cry and I cannot cry at home in front of my husband for fear of upsetting him further. She brought me to East Coast Park and I cried openly in her car for a good one hour.

25th Feb - the day where I will be delivering our beloved daughter who will never be born alive
We were given 3 dates as early as 21st Feb for the abortion, but I chose the latest date at 25th Feb for I want to keep her in my tummy for as long as I can.

宝贝，我和你有五个月的感情，妈咪真的不忍心。

It was going to be a ceserean delivery for Jorine. Emotionally I cannot go thru a natural birth. I cannot give birth to Jorine naturally and seeing her die at birth. It will be the most cruel thing ever for the 3 of us. I chose ceserean where I will sleep thru-out the surgery and my husband will wait outside the operating theare. Then, no one, except the medical team will see her. Athou we both will very much like to steal a glance at her, we know we have to move on, and seeing her will cause us more agonies. An hour later after the surgery, I woke up and tell myself it was all a dream. I weeped secretly and silently in my heart. I told myself I cannot cry infront of my husband for I do not want to upset him further. It has been a week since removing Jorine, my heart has never stopped weeping.

I missed my unborn baby girl very much and I wanted very much to have a big cry but I got no more tears and dunno how to cry anymore.

E cesarean cut on my tummy is nothing compare 2 e cut in my heart. There's no other pain than losing my own flesh n blood.

My dear daughter, I wish u well in Heaven. Forever missed and loved by Papa, Mummy & Korkor.

Recently, I have been going through Jovan's baby photos and boy, how I missed him as a baby. Why kids grow up so fast one huh? Meaning we are growing old too. In less than a month time, he will be 4. I really do missed his powerful kicks when he was still in my tummy. Now I just can't wait for the little rascal in my tummy to start the kickings. In another 5 months time, Jovan will be a big brother to his little siblings. Now 5 months pregnant, and I missed carrying Jovan. My son is a smart smart boy.

A Phone Call

Received a very important and happy phone call earlier. It was a call from the clinic to inform me that the blood test results I did last Saturday was good. Means baby is healthy. I heaved a sign of relief when I hear that.

Being pregnant can be really stressful, worrying if baby is ok or not is always weighing on our mind.

The night after I did the blood test, I had a nightmare. I dreamed that the clinic called me and wants me to rush to the hospital immediately because the blood test results don't turn out good. I wake up in total fear.

No words can describe how I feel now. Very elated. Next, is the detailed scan next month when we will get a full view of the baby growth and organs. I prayed that the detail scan will be good as well. Only after that, then will I be less stressful.

I don't care if you are a boy or a girl, I only care that you are a healthy baby... :)

My dear husband finally got me my 1st ROLEX yesterday. This ROLEX came 1 year late, it was suppose to come together with the proposal ring. I was "conned" into marrying him without the ROLEX.... Hmmmpppppfffff. But better late than never, right. Now this ROLEX became the gift for bearing him a child.

Was suppose to announce Baby J's gender. But this little rascal of ours refused to open his/ her legs during the scan last Sat. But the gynae is betting on a girl. Another scan next month to further confirm. Good to have a girl, my factory can finally closed after this birth. The expected date of arrival of Baby J is 25th June and since I am going for c-section, gynae has inform that we can start chosing a date from 10th June onwards to perform the surgery. We are setting the date on 20th June, that is provided Baby J dun decide to come out earlier than 20th June.

It is CNY in another 3 weeks time, we are going for another road trip to Genting. So looking forward. Will be busy planning for my precious 4th year birthday after the trip.

This shall be my last post for the Year 2010 before we welcome Year 2011 in 6 hours time.

The year of 2010 has been fabulous for me and it shall continues towards the year of 2011.

Both work and family has been good in the year of 2010. Got married and conceived my 2nd baby successfully.

Many things to look forward in the year of 2011.

Family trip to Genting again for Chinese New Year.

My birthday falls on the 1st day of CNY 2011.

Arrival of Baby J in June.

And the long awaited trip to Australia with Eric and Big J and the rest of the gang after my confinement.

I am getting so excited already as we usher in 2011 at Sis new place for the New Year countdown. Great food and companions awaited us.

HAPPY NEW YEAR to all my dear friends. May the year of 2011 filled with lots of happiness and wealth.

I am back to work today after having a 7 weeks long medical leave and missing my son dearly. The 7 weeks spent in bed and with him were so wonderful. Athou they were moments of him making me vomit blood for mis-behaving, still the thoughts of staying at home with him is so so so much better than working. When can I stop working huh?

Firstly, a very Merry Merry Christmas to all readers out there. I am here to announce that I am currently 3-1/2 months preggy with my 2nd bundle of joy. Baby planning has long started 3 months before our big day. And it was 5 days after the wedding that I tested postitve. It is truly a double happiness and the best wedding gift for us. Baby J will be delivered in June 2011. We have decided the name shall start with J regardless of the gender. I was in a love-hate relationship with this little rascal of mine in my tummy. 2 weeks after the postive test, I experience a week long of spotting. Another week later, I almost fainted in the toilet when I found blood clot, I was then sent to A&E. There after, the medical leave start. I was confined to the bed due to placenta being very low, thus the foetus is very very unstable. 4 weeks bed rest is very very crucial to keep the baby stable. During the very tough and worrying period, morning sickness attack me everyday. I should say it is full day sickness and not just morning sickness. I will be vomitting from day to nite, equals to eat what, vomit what. I never experience this bad sickness when I was pregnant with Jovan. So I say Baby J is here to torture me. Athou the 1st trimester is over, I am still vomitting thou not that often, about once every few days. I have decided due to this very tough 2nd pregnancy, will stop at 2. Factory will officially closed after delivering Baby J. Never never will I want to go thru this for the 3rd time. Have this pregnancy be as easy as the first, I will consider a number 3. But too bad, Baby J has decided for me that I shall stop at 2. I am so looking forward to Baby J 5 months in my tummy where I can feel his/her movements.

Next week is school re-open and Big J (Jovan) will be in Nursery class. This boy is still as cheeky and adorable and speaks incredible things like:

1) Asking me if I will ever vomit out the baby seeing that I vomit everyday.

2) Patting me on my back whenever I vomit and asked if I need water.

3) Telling me his papa has a dinosaur in his stomach because it is very big.

4) Asking me how does the doc "close back" my stomach after removing the baby, and suggested using "scotch tape".

5) Checking on me and asking me what I want to eat and he will ask his Ah Mah to cook seeing that I was giddy and resting on bed.

6) Telling my sister I haven die yet when my sister asked him how I am.

Tell me how not to love my son. Talking about him now makes me missed him even more. Another one hour to knocking off.

I was admitted to A&E, East Shore Hospital on Sunday. It was the most frightful day of my life. I screamed and almost fainted at home. I thought I had lost "it". The next 4 weeks is the most critical period for me. I must endure.

Jovan's 1st Concert 2010

We attended Jovan's school 2010 Graduation Concert yesterday. After attending the concert for the past 2 years involving Garren, this year was a very special one for us because Jovan is involved. Watching my precious son performing draw tears to my eyes and I can finally say my son has finally grown up. It was a very touching performance, at least that's how I felt.

The wedding was over and I am now officially Mrs Low. It was a successful event and all of us enjoyed the special day.

Special thanks to all my pretty sisters and the handsome brothers for providing their biggest help.

A big Thank You to Serene and Andrew for over-seeing/ project-managing the whole event. They were the most awesome emcees.

Appreciative thanks to all guests who turned up to witness our matrimony. Your presence were the best wedding gifts for us.

Mini-Moon

We are back from our mini getaway last weekends. I had told Mr Low that I wanted to go to Bintan but he booked us to Tanjung Pinang instead. To me, Bintan is where the beach resorts are, with the sun, sea and sand. But Mr Low had thought that since we have been there before, he decided to bring us to Tanjung Pinang which accordingly to the map is also at Bintan, and that there are night shoppings around in the area, place of interests to go explore, rather than staying in the room when the night falls.

And so, off we went on Sat morning.

We remembered the last time we went Bintan, it was only an hour ferry ride from Tanah Merah, but on this trip, it had taken us double the time. When the ferry docked, and I stepped out of the vessel, I so much felt like crying and wanted to take the next ferry back home. The place was an old town, according to Mr Low, he said it felt like the 80s of Singapore. It took us an hour to clear the immigration and when the hotel shuttle came to pick us up, the mini van had its air-con not functioning, and we were packed into the sauna van with 7 others. Mr Low ensured that we will be able to see the beach upon arrival at the resort. 20mins ride later, we reached the resort and I almost burst out crying. There are no sea, sand, sun around. It is just a normal hotel located at the centre of the old town. Sigh....

What I did most of the time during this 2 days 1 night trip was SLEEP.

I concluded that Tanjung Pinang it the worst trip I had ever been.

Next, we are looking forward to the family trip to Hat Yat come next Wednesday.

The girls got together again after my wedding to celebrate Ling's birthday. We had dinner at Ma Masion, Bugis before Mr Low and Jovan joined us just in time for cake cutting. It was an advance birthday celebration for Ling whose actual birthday falls on 28th Oct.

09/10/10, a nite of funness and craziness at Shanghai Dolly, Clarke Quay. It was suppose to be the Bachelor and Bachelorette Night held at separate locations. But the husband couldn't get a better place, the wife decided to pull his gang in, as an excuse to spy too. A total of 4 bottles of Martel were open that nite, with the husband and wife "GONE" and the end of the nite, waking up the next morning with heavy hangover and asking one and other how we got home the previous nite.

A very big Thank You to all the great women and men who came for the party. I had Sharline telling me she has never seen me in this craze before, I must explain I am normally not like that one hor.

Ganglion (Cyst) of the Wrist

Ganglion cysts arise from the capsule of a joint or the sheath of a tendon. They can be found at different places on the wrist. A ganglion cyst that grows on the top of the wrist is called a dorsal ganglion. Others are found on the underside of the wrist between the thumb and your pulse point, at the end joint of a finger, or at the base of a finger. Most of the time, these are harmless and will often disappear in time.

Cause
A ganglion cyst contains a thick, clear, mucus-like fluid similar to the fluid found in the joint. No one knows what triggers the formation of a ganglion. Women are more likely to be affected than men. Ganglia are common among gymnasts, who repeatedly apply stress to the wrist.

Symptoms
Because the fluid-filled sac puts pressure on the nerves that pass through the joint, some ganglion cysts may be painful. Large ganglia, even if they are not painful, are unattractive. Smaller ganglions that remain hidden under the skin (occult ganglions) may be quite painful.

A ganglion grows out of a joint, like a balloon on a stalk. It rises out of the connective tissues between bones and muscles. Inside the balloon is a thick, slippery fluid similar to the fluid in your joints. Usually, the more active the wrist, the larger the cyst becomes. With rest, the lump generally decreases in size.

Diagnosis
Your doctor may ask you how long you have had the ganglion, whether it changes in size, and whether it is painful. Pressure may be applied to identify any tenderness. A penlight may be held up to the cyst to see whether light shines through. X-rays may be taken to rule out other conditions, such as arthritis or a bone tumor. Sometimes, an MRI or ultrasound is needed to find a ganglion cyst that is not visible.

Treatment
Initial treatment is not surgical.
- Observation. Because the ganglion is not cancerous and may disappear in time, just waiting and watching may be enough to make sure that no unusual changes occur.
- Immobilization. Activity often causes the ganglion to increase in size. This is because activity increases pressure on nerves, causing pain. A wrist brace or splint may relieve symptoms, letting the ganglion decrease in size. As pain decreases, your doctor may prescribe exercises to strengthen the wrist and improve range of motion.
- Aspiration. If the ganglion causes a great deal of pain or severely limits activities, the fluid may be drained from it. This procedure is called "aspiration." The area around the ganglion cyst is numbed and the cyst is punctured with a needle so that the fluid drains away.
Nonsurgical treatment leaves the outer shell and the stalk of the ganglion intact, so it may reform and reappear.

The ganglion cyst can be removed through outpatient surgery, but this is no guarantee that the cyst will not grow again. Surgery may also include removing part of the involved joint capsule or tendon sheath. There may be some tenderness, discomfort, and swelling after surgery. Normal activities usually may be resumed two to six weeks after surgery.

It was on Friday morning when I woke up with pain on my left arm. Thinking that it was a reoccurrence of an old injury, I chose to ignore it. By evening, when I felt my wrist, I found a bone or so I thought it was, "popping" out of my wrist. Stubborness stopped me from seeking medical help during the weekends. Until Monday, while trying to tidying up my office, I felt an even sharp pain on my wrist. In the end, I got to apply for half day leave and seek medical help. Doc diagnos that it was "ganglion", or losely translated as fluid cyst. Some are painless and harmless, so ppl chose to ignore it until hopefully it disappear on it owns. But unfortuntely mine was found pressing on my veins, which causes immense pain from the wrist to the arm. And sometimes numbness. My movements are thus immobilised, left arm is now very weak and strengthless. A surgery is neccessary for me and it will take about 3 weeks to recover. I am delaying the surgery until after the wedding or even after November. 2 weeks after the wedding is a family trip to Hat Yai, and thereafterer I have already booked 10 driving lessons. Ok, I know I gave alot of excuses lah, I admit I am just afraid to go under the knife again. Thou this is a 15mins procedure (as claim by the doc), and is an outpatient surgery. But still, it is still going under the knife. I prayed everyday that I will be lucky as the others and the cyst will disappear on its own. Why I so suay to have the cyst grown pressing on my veins huh. Sigh...

A Mini Concert at St James

We received complimentry tickets for a mini concert in St James. And off we went last evening. It was the first time we went clubbing before the sunset at St James. Party a little and plus supper, we left for home at 1130pm.

Jovan's School Excursion

Jovan's school hold an excursion trip every quarter year. The first 3 we missed them because 1) Health Promotion Board, not an interesting place, 2) Marina Barrage, we go there very often, 3) Zoo, we can get free passes. Yesterday, the school excursion was to Sentosa. We went because it was the last excursion of the year, and even thou it was the most expensive among the 4. We paid $60 for an adult and a child, covered transportation and snacks.

Prior to this trip, Jovan is already telling me the chinese name of the fishes, insects and mammals. Smart boy he is. Below, there is a picture of him holding a butterfly.

A Surprise Gift

Mr Low surprise me last night with a lovely necklace and matching earrings from Aigner last night. I first caught sight of this set while flying on SQ to HK in May. Since then, I have been bugging Mr Low to buy with no response from him. So this surprise came, athou 4months late. Still, appreciate his kind thoughts. Never fail to surprise and shower me with gifts.

A Good Long Weekends...

Had a good good long weekends with movies, birthday party, shopping, JB and dinner with the family.

On Thursday nite, together with Mr Low and Jovan, we had Lady Monica, her big and small love heading to Downtown East for a movie. We caught "Grown Ups"...

"Grown Ups", starring Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Chris Rock, Rob Schneider, and David Spade, is a comedy about five friends and former teammates who reunite years later to honor the passing of their childhood basketball coach. With their wives (Salma Hayek, Maria Bello, Maya Rudolph) and kids in tow, they spend the Fourth of July holiday weekend together at the lake house where they celebrated their championship years earlier. Picking up where they left off, they discover why growing older doesn't mean growing up.

I know it was going to be a good show after seeing so many comical actors in it. It was a relaxing and hilarious show which have lots of meanings. Send me laughing through out the show. After the show, we went to Blk 85 for Bar Chor Mee. Left for home at 1am. It was also on this Thursday where I closed a 100K order for 300 seats. A project which I have followed since March this year. A pat on my shoulder for a job well done. :)

On Friday morning, we woke up to collect cupcakes from Bedok, in celebration of Grandma's 88th birthday at Sis's house. It was a good gathering where everybody big and small comes to gather. At night, the Yong's family and Mr Boy gathered at our place for drinking.

Sat, Mr Low, myself and Jovan went to JB. Have finally collected all our wedding pictures. We now have a house full of wedding pics. Also finally selected a turqoise bustier dress for the banquet. Finally all problems solved. And oh, the bridal shop make another measurement for me and found out that I have successfully shed off 2-1/2 inches off my waistline. So happy to hear that. I made a good choice by skipping supper. They killed. Off for my all time favourite tom yam steamboat for dinner with the Yong's family.

Sunday, laze at home until 4pm where we head down to Takashimaya. A yearly trip for Mooncakes festival. Mission accomplished after getting 3 boxes of mooncakes there.

I have finally passed my basic theory test. Come to think of it, I should have passed 10 years if I have more preservances then. It is such an embarrasing thing that I have failed 4 or was it 6 times previously as a private candidate. There were hearsay that the system is very "kelong" one. I passed today at my first try as a school candiate. And I score 49/ 50. Still wondering that is the only one question that I answered wrong. Anyway, to prepare myself for today's test, I have put in double the efforts and tests to go for E-trial test. Twice a week, each time for 45mins and up to 4 sets of paper. So more or less, I am very confident. When the PASSED appear on my screen, I almost screamed. Yes, that's how happy/ delighted I am. How not to when I have failed so many times previously.

Anyway, Mr Low has encouraged me to go all out for the practical lessons. Starting next week, I will go for lessons twice a week until I pass my TP. Thank you Mr Low for allowing me to burn another big hole in his pocket.

I can smell my car coming, one foot in already. Passed the basic, I get a bonnet and the steering wheel. Passed the Final, I get a boot and 4 tyres. Passed the TP, and I get my CAR.... Wahaahhahaha

I am so excited about this meeting tomorrow. This meeting really make me felt like a parent. It is Jovan's 1st year with the school, and also the 1st meeting between the parents and the teachers on the child progress. Of cos, I am expecting to be in this meeting for the next few years. Had a short chat with the teacher this morning and she is encouraging me to have a 2nd baby. She said that Jovan is very good in taking care of the younger classmates especially girls. Haha... And I told the teacher he is forever asking me for a mei-mei. Hopefully, Project B can be conceived as plan... :)

I went searching for an evening gown last Saturday. It was at Love Potion, Far East Plaza that I caught sight of a toga dress. It can be made to measure and adding crystal below the bust area. All in for S$280. Did not confirm immediately as I thought I could find something simple from the bridal shop next month.

This cheeky boy of mine is so clever. I seriously see myself in him. Ask BFF Ling that, and she will nod her head in unison. He will make excuses like he is feeling hot, feverish just to skip school and saying he has got a tummyache just to skip finishing up his dinner. When we went shopping, he will run to the toys dept, pick up something, tell me it is very nice and he like it, and then proceed to the cashier. Clever or not, u tell me.

Long post or long since I last posted... U decide...

I had a good 4 hours night chatting with my 2 darlings, Shar and Cher on last Friday night. Chilling and pigging out at the HK cafe in Katong. We are trying to meet at least once a month admist all our busy schedules. Love the bonding.

Woke up at 10am on Sat morning after hitting the bed only at 4am the previous night. Took Jovan to the market for brunch before heading home again for another round of nap. Woke up at 3pm and we went to Peninsula to collect our wedding cards. Head off to Marina Square there after. Setttled dinner at MOF before our movies start at 7pm. We caught City Under Siege played by Aaron Kwok.

We had wanted to catch "Frozen" but because it was M18 and we had Jovan with us, therefore we settled for this show. Not too bad, no regrets even thou we had no idea what show it was all about before we brought the tickets. Even Jovan says it is very nice.

Head to Pasir Ris after that for drinking with Mr Low, and ended the night at 1130pm.

Sunday morning, we head out to East Coast Park. Jovan armed with his bicyle, Mr Low with his roller blades and me with a book. After brunch at the HK cafe, the "boys" roamed around the park and I slacked at Coffee Bean. 2 hours later, we got home and napped somemore.

Had decided to do away with the red gown for my wedding. Will make another appointment with the bridal to re-select another gown. Less than 2 months to the wedding, and things are getting a little bit tense, with the invites to be sent out next month, many calls to friends to RSVP, seating arrangements, confirming tables with the banquet, select banquet theme, orderings cakes, Mum's attire, still got many many other things to settle still. Why wedding so troublesome one huh, can't wait for it to be over and done with.

Work is still as depressing. With a tender on hand and it has totally stressed me out. I hate tenders. Arggghhhhh... Need to release my inner stress somewhere/ somehow.

And oh, did I say I went for my first driving lesson last Thursday and I so loved it. Admist all the stress trying to coordinate my hands on the wheels, foot on the brake/ accelerator, eyes on the road. I can't wait for my basic theory test next Friday, pass it and I can apply on PDL already. Looking forward to my next lesson...

We spent 6 hours at the Bridal yesterday to confirm our wedding album designs and selecting the wedding gowns for my actual day.

This is the gown for the wedding banquet, for 1st march-in, our only march-in for e day... Got this gown as well, since I am allowed to take 3 gowns. I will love this gown for the wedding because no can-can required but Mr Low say it is too not bride-alike. Anyway, was thinking if I should wear this for the soleminzation.
Love this short dress but Mr Low say too kiddy for a bride. Not chosen in the end.

The kid had fun taking part in the quizzes on that day. End the end of the day, they were rewarded with a water bottle each from the zoo. I think that was the best part of the tour.

Clubbing @ Shanghai Dolly

It was like more than 6 months since we last step foot in Shanghai Dolly. This round we had Mr Low and Mr Boy joining us. We party from 11am till 2am.

Sis and myself got a rude shock when the music suddenly stopped and all lights were on halfway thru partying. There was a routine check and it took like 20mins before the cops left.

I started partying since I was 14, and that was the first time I witness routine check at a club.

The Wedding Updates...

So the Low went to JB again for our wedding pics selection. The 400 plus pics we took were so awesome. Our package only allows us to chose 10% out of the 400 plus pics. We select the pics until head pain, jaw also pain. Mr Low's budget to me for topping up of pictures is RM1000, in the end, it was RM2800, for an extra album, return of all the 400 plus pics, an extra protrait (we had a total of 4 now, dunno where got so many walls for us at home to hang), 2 extra table tops (we have a total of 6 now, dunno where got so many tables for us at home to display). All bargained by Mr Low. Seriously, I knew him for so 10 over years and only at the bridal shop then I know he is such a good bargainer, I swear if I were the shop assistant, I will strangle him.
Back to the album, actually I had only wanted to stick to one album but the wedding pics were too hard to resist, in the end Mr Low have got to give in to me. Going back to the bridal again next Sat to view the layout of the pics, giving permission to print, select all the protraits pics and also the actual day gowns.

Customary items were purchased yesterday too and out of the 100%, we only took the most important 10%. Everything also CUT CUT CUT.

Food tasting were done last night and was glad it all end well. Everyone were happy with the dishes. Have booked 2 rooms at the hotel for my family on the night before the wedding also.

Make-up artist aklso booked for Mr Low's mum. The task of bringing Low's mum to buy her dress landed on my foot and now I am cracking my head big times where to bring her. Me mum need to buy hers also.

The honeymoon has got to be postphone until CNY next year due to Mr Low's work commitment and now I am regreting because I sooooooo want to go Europe.

It has been a long time since I have enough brain juices to sit down and blog.

Work has been very demoralising as usual, don't seem to be what I want. This is the only job so far which I am telling people that I dun get job satisfaction out of it. Except for the flexibilty I get out of the job, I have no other reasons as to why I am still here. I guess the only achievement I have got here is spending a month designing our very own brochures. Now it is all ready, but I have no more energy to go chiong for sales. When I was a Receptionist 10 years ago on my 1st job, I wanted to be a Manager. Now that I am really a Manager, I yearn so much to go back being a Receptionist. Seriously, the work stress here is making me flip through jobs classified on Receptionist positions. I am telling Mr Low I want to stop working when Jovan attends Primary School. Hopefully......

2-1/2 months to the wedding, and things are seriously getting busy. No more dilly-dally, dragging our toes anymore. We have finally seated down and sort out the namelists. Luckily there are only 20 tables and I have also done with the seating arrangements. Every weekends are burnt trying to get things done. Tomorrow morning got to send Dad to the hospital for his 2nd review, then to the bridal studio in JB to select our wedding photos. Then on Sunday morning, gonna bring Mum to see the customary items and her dress for the wedding, and evening is food tasting at the hotel. Zoo on National Day holidays. Then following Sat we have our studio family pics taken. Then the next next Sat, to JB again. I hope to be able to steal a nap of two admist all the packed schedules.

Going to start driving next month and I am getting all excited.

Dad has been discharged

Dad has finally been discharged this afternoon. 5 days in the hospital and today is the day we all have been hoping for.

Finally, no more running to and fro the hospital. No more worrying for Dad's well being in the hospital.

We are gonna celebrate his leaving the hospital and Mum's advance birthday over steamboat at home tonight.

I need a good, well deserved massage.

Today we received the test report from yesterday's MRI scan. It was not a good one. Dad has his 2 veins broken, need to be in cast for 6 weeks. And if the veins dun re-attach by then, he will have to undergo surgery. He will also have to go thru physio-therapy. As on today, he is still in hospital. Hoping he can be discharge tomorrow.

Is Terribly Upset

Dad was admitted to the hospital last night for consistent swelling on his ankle which refused to go away. Since the twist on his ankle 2 weeks back, 1 trip to the sinseh, 1 hospital trip to CGH which he came home on bandages and cluthes, had a fall in the toilet a day after CGH, swell never subside. The pain was too much for him to bear that we had to send him to the hospital. This time we are at Eastshore Hospital which is nearer to our home. Dad is a very stubborn man, this time we really can see he is really in great pain and even agreeing to be admitted. I was so ready to give him a lashing if he refused to be admit. That goes to show he is really in great pain.

After leaving the hospital last night, I couldn't sleep a wink and as soon as we drop the boys in sch this morning, I had my BIL send me to the hospital to check in on him. Now I am back to the hospital after 2 meetings in the office. Had apply for a day leave tomorrow to accompany Dad until he can be discharged. He is expected to be in for about 5 days. Swelling no subside means he is not going home.

I pray that he recover soon.

Sally and Damien exchanged their vows infront of about 30 relatives and friends yesterday. We were all very happy for her. I did her make-up and my tenant did her hair. After the ceremony ended, we proceeded to Marriott Hotel for hi-tea.

The news of your passing came as a shock to me yesterday. Until now, I am still in shock. Memories flow back of the days we used to hang out together as a group during sec sch daze. How we formed a group and called ourselves "Sisters Forever". The question that I kept asking myself is why are you so foolish. My tears run dry for you. But I guess we will never understand the hurts you have suffered since Nov last year.

Ling, may you have now be reunited with your husband for he is the reason you are leaving all the people who love you behind. I pray for God's kindness to reunite both of you and may you all be happy forever in the other world.

Do you know how heart wrecking to read the reports on you in the newspaper? For you to end your life this way, we all understand it is a relief to you.

I am regretful for not being able to attend your wake due to personal reasons and will always be keeping you in my prayers.

1) Back from JKT. Was a very tiring trip. Frustrated with the traffic there and counting our blessings the traffic we have back home. JETSTAR delayed our return flight for an hour and Boss concluded that will be his first and last time on Budget Air. I took JETSTAR to JKT 3 times last year but none was delayed. Boss is sway lah. Finally got to savour Chief Yong's Yong Tau Fu in Jkt. As the legend says, it was fantastic. I hope his food business HUAT big big.

2) Was at the driving centre for 30mins this morning. Finally, pluck up my courage to enrol for driving lessons. Basic theory test on the 3rd Sept, and I can book my driving as early as next week.

Dad was admitted to the hospital last night due to an old leg injury. He visited the sinseh in the noon, but in the middle of the nite, the pain was so unbearable that he has to go to the hospital. Everyone at home were heartpain to see our super hyper active dad in bandages and on clutches. All of us are hoping that he will be able to attend Baby sis's ROM which is just 2 days away, on clutches thou.

Last Day of June 2010

I seriously think that the days this year passed in a flash. We are entering the 2nd half of year 2010 starting tomorrow. I will say I had a wonderful first half of 2010, admist all the work stress.

Leaving for my 2nd business trip to Jakarta tomorrow and will be back on Sat. Planning the 3rd one to Shanghai and Korea in Sept. As the company is entering into the Asia markets, I will have to fly more frequently, starting with Jakarta, then Malaysia and follow by Korea. With the new move and change, I will need an assistant to run the market in Singapore. Also in the midst of designing our company brochures and revamping the website.

In less than 4 months time, we will be walking down the aisle. As the wedding is nearing, we see ourselves more busy. There will be frequent trips to our bridal in JB. Choosing of wedding cards, printing of cards, photoshoot, selecting gowns and photographs, finding a JP are to be done in July. Food tasting and all the customary items to be done in August. We are not expecting a honeymoon after the wedding as Mr Low may not be able to leave his new job. But still, we may plan for a short short trip lah, maybe Bali. I hope to go Japan for CNY next year thou.

I have finally stop procrastinating and is going to the driving centre to register for driving later. You see, the driving centre is just beside my office and I have already been here for like close to 1 year. And of cos, generously sponsor by Mr Low with the pretext of changing his car from manual to automatic since I am taking up automatic license. Will be even nicer if he can buy me a car, small one 2nd hand also can lah. I hope I can get my driving license before year 2010 ends.

Baby sister is finally getting hitched. A week from now and she will be saying her vows with her lovelove. That was she called him lah. This Sunday, I am taking her out shopping for a dress, generously sponsored by yours truly. I am so excited and happy for her. When I was going thru my divorce, she told me that she never wants to get married. I felt so heartache then.

After celebrating Bro's 21st birthday last weekend, the family are hosting our only Grandma's birthday in August. We are expecting full attendance of all her children, grandchildren and great grand-children and all the respective halves, easily make up to 80 pax and above. She will be 88 this year. How strange when every year she will tell me she will be 90 in 2 years time. Something is wrong with her mathematics lah. Lol...

Bro's 21st Birthday Party

Universal Studio in the Nite

After Snow City in the noon, we went to Universal Studio at night. Universal Studio is open to public at nite from Thurs to Sat at a rate of S$2 per pax. The theme parks were closed thou, only open are their gifts shop. Universal Studio is smaller than what we have expected as well. No choice thou as Singapore is just a tiny dot on the map. So everything you have here are small.

We brought the kids to Snow City yesterday noon. The disapointing part of the trip was we were not allowed to bring in our own camera and the place was smaller than what we had expected. We only spend 30mins in the city athou we had paid for an hour.

This boy of mine talked alot, sometimes his conversation left me dunno to cry or to laugh.

The following conversation happened yesterday at Takashimaya:
My mum give him a S$50 note while q-ing up at the cashier to pay for Gracia's ribbon.
Jovan: " Ah ma, give me money leh"
Ah Ma (pointing to the S$50 note in his hands): "I gave you already, in your hands".
Jovan:"No ah ma, this is paper." (and then proceed to dig Ah Ma's bag)
Jovan happily found some coins and exclaimed: "Ah ma, this is money"
My mum almost fainted...

I found a scratch on my watch...
Jovan:"Mummy, never mind lah. When I big boy already, I buy you a new watch, okie mummy."

Pre Wedding Outdoor Shoots

We finished our outdoor photoshoots in Desaru yesterday. It was a tiring plus long and fun shoot.

Love the staffs at Venus Bridal. They are so professional and their coordination skills are superb. Unlike my experience with bridals in Singapore. 70% of Venus clients are Singaporeans. And yesterday, besides us, there are 3 other Singaporeans couples were also taking their photoshoots.

The first time my face got make-up by a male artist and I must say he is very good. At least, I think my make-up are better than the other 3 brides. Simple and sweet, not those wayang wayang types. Mr Low also got his face make-up for the first time and he got a shock when the artist trimed his eyebrows.

We are looking forward to our next indoor photoshoots in a month time.

Fathers' Day Celebration

We celebrated Fathers' Day one week in advance last Sunday.

Reasons being;

1) We mistakenly thought that Fathers' Day is the same as Mothers' Day which falls on the 2nd week of the month.

2) Mr Low and myself will be away on Fathers' Day for our pre wedding shots in Desaru.

The sisters had orginally plan to cook for the Fathers but end day Mum decided she will love the food at Barks Cafe more. So off we went to Barks Cafe.

Yesterday, we took the kids to the Fire Station for a tour. We went to the one located at Bishan. All fire stations in Singapore are open to public on every Saturday, from 9 to 11am. It is a great experience for both the adults and the kids.

Products from Bio Essence.

Last Sunday, I went window shopping wth my sister, and came back home with face-lifting cream, toner and slimming cream from Bio Essence. I love the slimming cream, they are so burning hot. It work so well on my tights, kept burning from morning till noon.

Then last night, I ~~con~~ pysco Mr Low into buying the sleeping mask 2nd from the left and the cleanser, 2nd from the right.

I foreseen myself getting more stuffs from Bio Essence. They are so affordable with the GSS now in store.

The Great Singapore Sales has officially made me S$300 poorer. Retail therapy, they called it or so I called it. Over the weekends, I had splurged on 2 dresses, 2 belts, 2 shorts, 3 tops and S$100 worth of facial products. I know I had to stop buying already because my warbrobe is complaining and in the verge of bursting.

The family went to Shanghai Dolly kitchen for dinner last night. And because Sally's husband is a manager with the St James group, the bill is 50% off. Not only that, we took Mum and Dad and the 3 kids to Shanghai Dolly, and showed them where we love to party. After the dinner, it was a stroll at Clarke Quay before Dad suggested we took the River Cruise. And so we go. That costs S$105 on 7 adults and I managed to pysco the assistant into giving the 3 kids for free.

3 Days 2 Nites A'Famosa Resort

So on the last long weekends, the family packed and leave for Malacca where we stayed 2 nights at A'Famosa resort. We have been talking for so long about visiting the resort and finally fulfilled. Except for the condominum stays and the food, the rest still OK. The kids had fun and everyone making time off to fulfill this trip as a family make up for the rest of the sucky things we experienced which include jam for 2-1/2 hours at the custom, dinner at Huang Di resto where we dun feel the least Huang Di, 2 spooky nights stay and the choked sewage.

The girls head down to ZOUK on the eve of Vesak Day. So long since we last party together. As usual, we took hell loads of pictures and were joined with Joyce's business friends from Italy. Why Zouk? Ahemmmm, because we were there for their Lychee Martini... Lol...

We started the nite at 10pm and ended at 2am... Guess we are old already, by 12mn, everyone were actually yawning already... Called it a night after supper at Simpang Bedok...

Just a Quick Update

I better do a quick update now before it might be a new week when I can get down to post. Leaving office in 15mins for 2 appointments and the sorching sun is making me so lazy.

Work week this week has been very very busy. I have been rushing for appointments and submission since Monday, and it gonna be the same way until the end of this week. Which I can't wait cos it is a long weekends and the family are going to Malacca. 2 cars road trip again.

Mr Low has resigned from his comfort zone of 8 years and today he embarked on a new career. I wish him success so that I can fulfill my tai-tai wannabe dreams soon.

Bought 2 more loves on last sat shopping trip with Mr Low. He bought me a blazer and a top from G2000 while he got himself 2 pcs of cufflink shirts for his new job. Love Anchorpoint cos it is all outlet stores there and things are rather cheap compare to those in the other malls. After shopping and dinner, we took Jovan to Henderson Waves for a stroll. Met-up with Mr and Mrs Yong for late nite drinks at Barks Cafe then after.

Back to my massage session. I was there for slimming in the first place, but the chinese massue says the area on my tummy are water retention and not fats. She advise that I exercise more to sweat out the water in my body. And also as I suffered from backache after delivering Jovan, she advised that I get my back treated properly first before I decide to have my 2nd one. So I went thru a torturous and painful 90mins session with her, causing me tears everytime I felt pain. I need to be back once and fortnight and treated till my back recovered, and water retention reduced.

Best Cuttlefish ever

I am a cuttlefish lover and tasted all types of cuttlefish from all over the world. It was chilling out at Shar's place last Friday where she introduced me to this brand. I fall in love with it after the 1st packet. The best cuttlefish ever tasted. But it is also very spicy that I have to drown 3 cans of Ice Lemon Tea with it.

This cuttlefish can be purchased from either Giant, John Little or Sheng Siong. John Little is selling at S$ 2 per pkt, Giant is S$ 1.70 per pkt and Sheng Siong is only S$ 1.30. If you get it from Bangkok, it is only S$0.20.

A random call to her yesterday afternoon saying I cannot find the cuttlefish in Giant (both Tampines and Parkway), and at night she appeared with 10 packets. Want to how sweet!

Suffering from Warbrobe Crisis

I am suffering from very serious warbrobe crisis. I cannot fit into 75% of my tops due to a refuse to go away tummy. Because of that, I am only buying big big loose loose clothes to go with tights for non-apointment days and the weekends. Those small small slim slim tops I had are still sitting in my warbrobe where I can only admire for the time being.

Worried that I will looked awful in the wedding shots next month, I am going for massage using chinese traditional methods, hopefully can make the tummy go away. The session caused $60 for 1-1/2 hr, courtesy from Mr Low.

Dad's Birthday - 17th May

We celebrated Dad's 54th birthday over hi-tea lunch at Amara Hotel yesterday. Everyone was present except for the 2 future sons-in-law, Eric and Damien.

After lunch, I rushed down to Millenia Walk to meet up with my boss and our business partner from Spain. Ended the nite after dinner at 11pm. Missed dinner at home and Dad's cake cutting. Heard Mum ordered a Superman cake for Dad. Well, he is indeed a Superman.

Super hubby to Mum, super Dad to us and super Grandpa to the kids.

Today is Dad's actual birthday and I missed saying Happy Birthday to him in person due to business appointments with the Spainish. However, I text him a SMS, wishing him good health and youth forever.

I love my Dad. Best Dad ever.

My 2 Darlings

I finally met up with my 2 darlings, Cheryl and Sharline at the latter's place in Katong. We had a good 5 hours chatting session, ending the night at 3.30am. Catching up on each other lives, gossippings and reminiscing the past. Our paths crossed when we were studying Business in MDIS 6 years ago. We stick to each other during classes and on the weekends. The 3 of us will meet weekly for KTV, bowling, slacking, overnite and swimming at Shar's place, chilling out at Mt Faber and feasting in our fav teppanyaki at Bugis. We also went out of town to Genting back then. How I missed those days. Those were the carefree days, no family, no kids. We started missing out of each other lives when I got pregnant. Those weekly meet-ups grew lesser and lesser.

Glad to know that the 2 of them are still doing well, in fact better for Cheryl, who is now venturing into her own business, finally realising her dreams.

Sharline, athou still struck in her family business, she has a very good fiancé who is always supporting her. So looking forward to their wedding in 2013.

The 2 of them are gonna married me off for the second time in Oct. Having their blessings are the best wedding gift.

I am so looking forward to the next session with them.

Back from HongKong

We are finally back home after spending 90 hours in HongKong. It was a well deserved holiday after suffering from tensions both at home and at work.

Still missed the yummlicious desert from "Xu Liu Shan" where we indulged in the mango desert every night at MongKok. Jovan is one happy boy cos mangoes are his favourite.

Most of the pictures you see below are with Jovan, becos the Little Vainpot does not allow me to take pictures without him in it. What to do, my little Emperor, still!

On the day we are dued to fly to HongKong, Eric was not able to take the same flight with us due to our flight been a full one. Therefore, Eric took the flight ahead of us and waited at HK airport for 4 hours before me and Jovan arrived. After Sis and family send us to the airport, we had breakfast together before me and Jovan checked in. It was the first time I took Jovan alone on a flight and was glad that he behaved well admist a little foul tempers here and there.

Upon arrival at HK airport, we took the Airport Express to Mongkok where our hotel is.
POP hotel, a newly opened hotel in Mongkok, just 10mins away from MongKok MTR station. A 3-Star hotel, with the bed 3/4 size of my Queen size bed at home. I missed my bed at home the most on my 3 nites there. The 3 of us have to squeeze into the bed lor ~~(lucky I am slim lor)~~. And the toilet is so bloody small, it is not recommended for anyone plus 1/4 size of me. My poor Jovan knocked onto the sink somemore lor. The only thing I like about staying at POP hotel is the walking distance to MongKok MTR station.

After checking into the hotel, we walked back to the mtr station where we had pizza for dinner. Then we spent 2 hours walking around Ladies Street before calling it a nite at 10pm.

On our 2nd day in HK, we went to Ocean Park where we spent 6 hours there. After which, we went to The Peak, like finally. We also visited the Wax Museum, had MacDonalds for dinner and enjoyed the breeze at The Peak. The tram ride down the peak make me nauseous thou. Seeing that the night is still early, we went to Temple street for some shopping before ending the nite.

3rd day, morning we went to Wong Tak Sin temple, shopping around MongKok before heading to Golden Plaza at Prince Edward, recommended by gf for wedding stuffs. Back to hotel in the noon to dump our shopping loots, followed by a short nap for Jovan before we head to Avenue of Star for dinner and sightseeing. At the MTR station there, Jovan bought me stalk of Rose made from chocolate as Mothers' Day gift. After some shots, he took back the rose and put the piece of chocolate into his mouth lor. More shoppings at Ladies Street before we end the nite.

Last day in HK, we checked out of the hotel at 11am, took the MTR to Tsing Yi station where we had pizza again for lunch before we took the airport train to the airport for our flight back home. This time, we took A380 and I so loved it. The seats are more spacious and comfortable.

Counting down 2 days to HongKong

The first time I visited HongKong was in Aug 2008.

That trip, I single-handly brought my then only 18months old Jovan with me.

That trip, I carried my then 12kgs baby for a good 4 days 3 nights.

That trip, was a tiring one where I felt I lost my arms and legs every night after returning from the hotel.

That trip, I return back to Singapore without my soul. It took me almost 3 weeks before I recovered my soul.

That trip, was Jovan first time out of Singapore by plane.

That trip, I thought I had lost Jovan in the big big Esprit factory outlet, only to find out my little rascal had hide himself into a pile of clothes. I sweared I almost broke into tears where I had only left my sight at him for a mere 10 seconds.

That trip, I lost my temper at Jovan at Disneyland when I was too tired to carry him and he refused to walk. I self pity myself for not having a husband to help me.

That trip, I missed going to The Peak with my cousins because I do not want to leave Jovan with my sister in the hotel.

That trip, I carried Jovan in my arms where he slept for a good 2 hours while shopping at Ladies Street. I still managed to buy things there u noe.

That trip, me and my sister spent close to 1K at the Disney gift shop. Me and sister walk in and out of the gift shop more than 6 times. We also hand-carry 2 x big packs of chestnut each pack costing SGD100. Together with prunes and others, we blew $500 at that shop.

That trip, was a good bonding time for both Mother and Son and confirmed that I cannot live without him, and by all means I must win his custody.

2 years on, we are going there again for our 2nd time. This time with my new husband-to-be and as a new family. This trip we are going to Ocean Park instead of DisneyLand, and for sure, we are going to The Peak.

Jovan came home from his Art class tonight. I notice his newly brought t-shirt was stained with crayons and thus our conversation goes like this...

Me: "BB, why is your t-shirt so dirty?"

Jovan: "Aiya, never mind lah, you can wash for me ah."

Me: "I not your maid hor."

Jovan: " But you Mummy hor."

Me: (@_@)

I dunno to cry or to laugh lor. My son is only 3 years old yet he talked like a 小大人.

Kids are very smart nowadays. Jovan can use "because" and "but" when he conversed with me.

Must admit my son is growing up and I is growing old.

Long Weekends

My long weekends started last Thursday. That day was my 1st appointment with HDB for buying over my parent's flat. Jovan got fever the night fever, and so he didn't go to school on Thursday. Brought him along to HDB with us. In the evening, the men (Edward and Eric) and the boys (Garren and Jovan) caught Iron Man 2 at Vivo City.

On Friday, I was suppose to return to work, but Jovan's fever strike again in the middle of the nite. Got urgent leave and sent him to the doctor. His fever is caused by ear infection again. Gave him antibiotics and fever medicine and sent him to bed in the afternoon. When we were getting ready to go out for dinner in the evening, his fever came back again. Fed him medicine before we got out of the house. Poor boy got drowsy on the medicine and slept thruout the journey to Jurong Point. Found my wedding shoes at Jurong Point at half of my budget. Happy with the buy. Jovan wanted noodles for dinner and we settled for Crystal Jade. Left Jurong Point at 9pm and the poor boy dozed off in the car again. Reached home, fed him medicine, tucked him into bed and I left home for Shin Bar. Was there with my lovely ex-colleagues and we had fun catching up. Left the place at 3plus in the morning.

Sat morning, Dad took us to visit temples. We were supposed to go on a one day trip to JB but this day, Garren was down with fever. Thus, the trip was cancelled. We had brunch at Crystal Jade (again for me and Jovan). After temples, it was napping time again. In the evening, we had dinner with the Yong's Family at Pasir Ris fishing pond before we adjourned to Downtown East for movies.

This time, we caught Ip Man 2.

For most shows, the part 2 is always lousier than part 1. But it was a different case for Ip Man 2. It just gets better. It was awesome. Hoping for Part 3 thou.

Sunday, I went on a date with Jovan, just the 2 of us again. Bus ride to Tampines. Took him to Burger King for lunch. Halfway thru lunch, my poor boy vomitted. After cleaning him up, we went to Seiyu to buy him a new set of clothes, collected my shoes and we went Tampines Mall for painting again. After that, we cabbed home for our afternoon nap. In the evening, we went dinner at Tung Lok to celebrate Sally's birthday and Mothers' Day. Pictures in the next post.

Jovan is at the doctor again. This time for his left foot. He complained of pain last night and we thought it was blister. This morning before I left for work, I checked on him and found that it was swollen. So now he is at the doctor with Eric. Prayed he can recovered soon for we are leaving HongKong in 4 days time.

I am suffering from a relapse of pain in my spine. The same agonies as I have gone through 5 years back. Except now that I still can walk. The last time, I cannot walk for 3 weeks. Seek consulations from my western doctors and all they can give me was injections and more painkillers. Even an X-Ray shows nothing wrong with my spine, the pain just won't go away. Until I was brought to a chinese sinseh and she says I was suffering from blood clots. After the clots were removed, the pain was gone and I can walk again. This time I am not sure if I should go fo western or chinese. Sigh, prayed the pain will be gone soon.

HongKong Holiday (7th - 10th May)

I am so happy and excited, just done with booking myself and Jovan on a 4 days 3 nights trip to HongKong in 2 weeks time. It is mine and precious 2nd trip to HongKong.

No, this time we are not going to Disney Land. We are going to Ocean Park instead and also The Peak which we didn't get to cover 2 years back.

The very excited part is that we can to return via A380, want to how happy leh.

Eric is of cos travelling with us, except he is on free ticket from SIA.

So excited you know, counting down 2 weeks.

And oh yah, Malacca this weekends is cancelled.

The boys 1st Art Lesson

Last night was their first lesson and we were glad that they enjoyed.

Jovan was telling me how he love the class and wants to go for lessons everyday. No fuss nor cries at the Art lesson.

Teacher was so full of praises for Jovan and I am so proud.

Over the weekends

Went thru a not so good weekends thou but spend alot of quality times alone with my precious and I am loving it.

On Friday evening after dinner, thinking that the fun car rides at the basement carpark at T3 is moving out after 30th April, we brought the kids there only to know they have extended until 30th June. Anyway the kids have fun playing, and the adults sad over their burnt pockets. Not cheap thou those rides, depending on the type of cars the kids chose, it is between $5 - $7 for 10mins and usually the kids will want more than 2 rides. Mind you, we have 3 kids. So usually we will blew $50 on these rides.

After the rides, we took the kids via Skytrain to Termial 2 for ice-cream.

Ice-cream at Swensens and I found that Jovan eat his ice cream with the waffles biscuit in the same way as me. Scoop the ice cream on the waffles biscuit and bite.

Like Mother, Like Son...

Sat afternoon, I took Jovan on a bus ride to Tampines. Just myself and him. Had wanted to bring him to the library but boy requested to do painting instead. So I brought him to Tampines Mall.

On Sunday, as I wasn't feeling well and afraid he will be bored at home, I took out the bath tub which we used to bathe him when he was a baby. Filled up with water and bubbles it, he had fun playing in it for a good 20mins.
